To continue to spread her impact, she serves as an avid educator for psychiatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants and medical students to assist in bridging the gap in the quantity of qualified mental health providers in a world of growing need.

Charles Afful
Dr. Afful received his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Afful completed his general psychiatry residency at the Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Residency Program where he served as a Chief Resident. During his residency, he was honored with the Outstanding Medical Knowledge award and the Certificate for Excellence in Psychotherapy for his impressive work in the field.
Dr. Afful is a dedicated educator and has served as a Preceptor for Hunter College-Bellevue School of Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. He is an active member of American Psychiatric Association, the New York Psychiatric Society, American Medical Association and New York Medical Society.
