Founder of MindBodySoul Psychiatry

Iman Hines

Congratulations! You are making the first step towards strengthening your mental health. Thank you for trusting us to assist you in your journey towards self- actualization.

I am a first generation American. I come from a family of immigrants from Jamaica. Some of the first positions they landed upon migrating to the U.S were in the mental health sectors. Their experiences helped them to realize and recognize mental health as a priority despite cultural stigmatization. They raised me with an open mindedness and embrace that fostered me on a path of spiritual transcendence and healing from trauma. I developed a wellness routine to cope with the academic and emotional rigor of university. While there, I met an amazing professor who encouraged me to specialize in psychiatry. From that time, I have dedicated my life to helping as many people as possible achieve mental wellness. I am humbled to say that I have had great successes with my patients who have instilled this holistic approach. It is our mission to transform the way psychiatry is practiced.

Love and light,

Iman
